Hello September!
I’m not going to lie, I hate that the Summer is over however there are a lot of things to get excited about at this time of the year.
There is something I love about September - for me it feels like a new start, even more than January. Also, as a good Virgo, my birthday is on the 1st of September, and there is something about turning older on the first day of the month which I like - a fresh start.
Schools go back, everyone gets back home from holidays and the routine (God,I love the routine) kicks in.
I’m not going to lie, I hate that the Summer is over however there are a lot of things to get excited about at this time of the year. The cozy evenings, the autumn wardrobe, Fashion Weeks, food, and as someone who loves being at home, it’s the time to hibernate and enjoy it.
Going back to the wardrobe organisation, I love doing two big clearances a year (Autumn and Spring) - basically I take everything out and check what I want to keep, what I want to sell (LOVE Vinted) and what I want to donate. And, most importantly, I make a list of things that I need/want for the season. I also do it with my daughters’ wardrobe which brings me the same excitement as doing my own.
This year, due to my pregnancy, I’m not planning on buying much as, for obvious reasons, I won’t be able to wear it/fit anything. However I’ve seen so so much I would love to buy - beautiful suede jackets, red flats, a chocolate brown cardigan, a burgundy jumper, a long trench coat, to name a few!
I’m going to leave my wishlist and I hope it can give you ideas for this A/W - me, in the meantime, I’ll be in long knitted dresses, pregnancy jeans and oversized shirts until January!
Love,
Elisa x
